Initially shown for a month at the Praxis 11 Gallery in Bideford, this exhibition was controversially removed from the Queen's Theatre, Barnstaple in a 'censorship' row.
Shan said "Obviously Bideford people are more liberal. Barnstaple is a much bigger place but the people who go into Queens must be stuffier than most"
When the exhibition was unveiled at Bideford she described the paintings as "an amusing look at eroticism minus the perverse".
